Networking for experts: Linh Ho Manh, PhD
Linh is extremely passionate about utilizing his skills in mathematics to find cures to diseases with no known cures and optimizing/repurposing FDA approved drugs.
Linh is an expert at developing and applying machine learning techniques in cheminformatics pipelines for drug discovery, specifically working with Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (VUV) and mass spectrometry chemical property datasets.
• Knowledgeable in interpreting machine learning models by web-based applications using FLASK platform.
Industry Experience:
Currently a Data Analyst joint between The University of Texas at Arlington and VUV Analytics, Inc. in Cedar Park, TX.
• In this position, Linh is developing apps for governmental agencies such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), VUV Analytics, and UTA-Department of Education.
Academic background:
Linh is en route to completing his second Ph.D. and is the first author of 19 publications.

• Expected to graduate in Spring 2023 with a Ph.D. in Data Science and Machine Learning from the Department of Industrial Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington
• Completed his first Ph.D. in Electromagnetics from Politecnico di Milano, Italy in 3 years (2011-2014).
